For in-person courses, a certificate of completion will be emailed to you within 24 hours of course completion.

For online courses (live or on-demand), a post-test will be emailed to you within 72 hours. Once you score 70% or higher (you may take the test as many times as you need to attain the score), a certificate of completion will be emailed to you within 48 hours.

No. We have limited spots, so it is first paid, first served.

For in-person courses, prepare ample time for public transportation or finding parking (as credits are based on sign in and sign out time). We recommend dressing in layered clothing, as room temperature may fluctuate.

For online courses, make sure you have a strong internet connection. Our course platform only allows one login per device for live courses (i.e. you cannot be logged in concurrently on more than one device) and one login total for on-demand courses (i.e. you can only log in once, and only from the device you registered with), so be sure to have the device you are using charged or plugged in. Handouts or materials for online courses will be available for printing or download.

Please note: if you would like a recording of a live webinar, you must order and pay for it in advance of the course. Once you have been logged onto a live webinar for more than 15 minutes, you must pay the COMPLETE registration price once again for the recording/on-demand version. No prior payment can be applied toward a recording/on-demand of the live webinar.

Course materials are protected by copyright and may be shared only with the express permission of the course presenter. Participants must sign an attestation that they will follow the ethical obligations of their accredited agency reflecting adherence to copyright law.

For in-person courses:
All cancellations must be received in writing via fax, email, or mail. A full refund, less a $75 administrative fee (plus credit card processing fees, where applicable), will be provided if cancellation is received up to four weeks prior to the date of the course. Half tuition, less a $75 administrative fee (plus credit card processing fees, where applicable), will be refunded if cancellation is received up to two weeks prior to the date of the course. No refunds will be made after the two week deadline. Refunds where a coupon was redeemed will result in an adjusted refund amount. Tuition for no-shows or cancellations received after the course has started will be forfeited, no exceptions. Hands On Approaches, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the course for extenuating circumstances. A full refund for the course fee will be provided, less credit card processing fees, where applicable. Hands On Approaches, Inc. is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the participants (i.e. non-refundable travel arrangements) if the course is cancelled.
Occasionally, changes are made due to speaker availability, participant demand or unforeseen circumstances. Courses may occasionally be cancelled. You will be notified by email and/or phone at least 24 hours in advance of the class start date. A full refund will be granted, less credit card processing fees, where applicable. While Hands On Approaches, Inc. will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, Hands On Approaches, Inc.'s liability is limited to the tuition fee only.

For online courses:
For full day courses, a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee (plus credit card processing fees, where applicable) will be granted up to one week before the training date. No refunds will be issued after that time.
For mini-courses (less than 4 hours), a 50% refund will be granted up to 3 weeks before the training date. No refunds will be issued after that time.
No refunds for recordings or “on-demand” webinars.
